It's been a week since my last post about a "tech stuff" journal, and now i post a new one.
Today i am in the mood talking about UAV, or you can call it drone instead. But, it is a unique UAV. It imitates bird... (what????)

Summary of Reported Research :
- The paper presents to us the design and development of a unique
kind of small UAV or so called Micro Air Vehicle (MAV) based on the bird’s
flapping wings mechanism. The MAV is using a micro scale integrated on board electronic circuits and communication device based on AVR micro controller. The writers named the MAV as Falcon MAV. It is made as a bio-robotic aerial surveillance equipment with integrated communication and control devices. This kind of MAV is also called an ornithopter. Falcon MAV weighs 24 grams.
- The writer was using bottom up approach to resemble Falcon MAV design.
- Falcon MAV is designed to be used for various civilian and military purposes in the field of surveillance and reconnaissance. It can be flying, and gliding during operation.
- Brushless DC motor is the source of the mechanic movement of it.

MAV is only a prototype, the design is still rough and it needs an aerodynamics
expert to enhance the design.

endurance of the battery is only 15 minutes.
- The camera system is not sufficient for a surveillance operation.
- Falcon MAV does not have autonomous capability, and hovering mode.
